A nice enough little double produced a profit yesterday and hopefully we can do similar today.
Those of you applying the Stake Management rules will have also obtained a small profit from a 20/80 on that one ridden by Hector Crouch.
I have had a good look at Exeter and only one horse there originally interested me, PADLEYOUROWNCANOE (5-35pm).
Interesting that Robbie Power is there for just that one ride but the original odds on did not interest me. Now he’s drifting like a barge in the betting and is even less attractive.
No bets at Exeter for me, then.
At Worcester they have a Bumper slap bang in the middle of the card and WAITONIT looks very interesting. He would have won his Irish PTP but for falling at the last in March and was subsequently bought by a partnership that includes Carl Hinchy.
Carl like a bet and this horse is being backed to win this race.
In the opener on the card I’m seeing plenty of money for INCLUDED.
She runs in the five runner race that opens the card and she raced just five days ago. The front two on the tissue are “suspect”, to say the least. Both returning after an absence, both returning for their first runs following wind-operations and both were drifting last time I looked.
Ultra consistent but yet to win over fences, a 20/80 might be worth considering because I’m never scared of taking on an odds on novice ‘chaser from the Nicholls yard.
I do not like the surface at Southwell and the huge fields at Kempton are off putting but, William Haggas has booked James Doyle to ride SENIORITY in the 7-00pm there and this is Doyles only ride there tonight. It is also the only runner from this yard and when they team up here, they have a superb 32% strike rate (7-22).
The best stat of all though is that when Doyle has ridden this horse on all weather surfaces before, they are 2-2.
I’d be happy with a 20/80.
