So, what do we all do now

All of us on here are sports lovers, whether it be racing, football golf etc the sporting calendar has been decimated for at least the next month(no way is the football back on the 3rd April) what will you all be doing to pass the time?

It felt like racing had to stop, not because they wanted it to they had no choice before they came in for severe criticism.

I genuinely have never known anything like it usually if a particular sport has to stop for whatever reason there is always some other sports we can watch not now.

I suppose now ill be doing a lot more reading which I love.

Interesting times.

HELP!

Does anyone know anything about Happy Valley (HK) or Greyville (SAF) ?  Will Ron's ratings work there/  I can't stay at home without my five hours of studying betting and watching horses.  I think I will withdraw all my money from the bookies in case they start going bust as well.  What is Ron going to do at 5.00am every morning?

I have lots of beer and loads of wine in and I think I am going to need them.

I feel a few more lottery systems coming on.

Going Doolally.  Happy Valley Here I come.

if you are going to use the exchanges there wont be a lot of money, if you are straight punting I expect it will be fine, as for Rons ratings I doubt very much he has historical data to apply his criteria against. I think right now best thing to do is keep the missus happy by doing all the things she nags about but you never could be arsed to do 🙂

I am lucky enough my job can be done from home so I havent been laid off but my company is getting hammered with people cancelling contracts so who knows. Best of luck to everyone

If you really must bet I checked 365 and table tennis, eSports and some HongKong football seem to be going ahead

Geoff,   Was that 'Happy Valley' or the 'Funny Farm' ?  😉

It is going to feel very weird though, might have to go back to volunteering for the Ambulance Service PTS for the duration. I will definitely have to find something to do.  Any ideas ?

I've got loads to do, Geoff! One thing I've been meaning to do is learn how to edit podcasts using Audacity....plenty of time to do that now.

I doubt my April appointments will go ahead now but will contact the charities to see what they want to do.

With the lighter mornings just around the corner I'll be up at 5-00am and might treat the dogs to an early morning walk.

I'm having the new Clover Club website built and looking at introducing Shopify into that....one of the major things I'll be doing is promoting merchandise to not only members, but the racing public at large...all profits going to racing charities.

Plenty on my racing plate, and not having to sit here tinkering with three screens, betting, laying etc, frees up a mountain of time to get these other things done.

The Forum will hopefully see lots of new faces popping in, if only to have a read and I'm working on something that will hopefully enable me to make those Market Movers even more profitable....loads to keep on top of.

Karen bought me a Billy Connolly book for Christmas and I've not read a single word yet....time for that now, too!

Last night I was given a "to do" list....gardening, decorating....so I'll be kept very busy!

I'll bet these new plates I am spinning soon start wobbling!!

I had a go at Greyille today three bets but only one winner.  I have updated the stats for tomorrow based upon Turfontaine only.

The stats show this season and this year and I have highlighted those jockeys with good returns.

Scott....I've been given my list of "things to do".....🙈

I got given a free credit to play at the Betfair Casino yesterday 🙄....unless I can produce a way of working that enables me to know when three lemons are about to drop, that stuff is of absolutely no interest to me.

With Irish racing going ahead I've an excuse to leave the paint brushes in the drawer....for now.

How is the racing game progressing Ron ?

Everything in that area on hold now, Ian. I very much doubt we'll get that running now before the flat season 2021 but, if that's the case, so be it.

Right now we are in the first development phase, which is where all the questions are answered and the plan for how the game etc runs, is put in place.

Once that is done....who knows when that will be??....I can then introduce the "game" to prospective sponsors etc, as we'll have a full mock up with functionality in place.

Once that has been done, then the coding and website will be developed, with a minimum of three months testing of the coding, once it is done. Members will be invited to play a trial game "behind closed doors", and asked to utilise every aspect of the game to see where the bugs are and the coding breaks repaired.

When a database has this many "permissions" asked of it, it's guaranteed we'll find certain aspects of it need changing.

That is why the darned thing costs so much!....I still look at the final figure and cringe but, it's the game that will define where we go with The Clover club in four years time.

The plan is to have a minimum of 10% of those that play Fantasy Football playing our game (the Premier Leagues own game this year has nearly 7.5 million players on board....see screenshot), so if we can get that number on board in four years, the four that come after it will be something off the scale.
