Travelers Championship

Travelers, TPC River Highlands, Connecticut- Par 70 6841 yards Dye redesign resort-style, rating 72.5 slope 131. Kentucky bluegrass/perennial rye (up to 4 inches), bent grass/Poa annua fairways/greens, avg 5000sq ft, 12ft stimp, 119 bunkers, 5 water hazards. Not hugely specific on stats though maybe 2nd shot course, tough scramble, score par 4s well to score about -18, so strong putting, SG tee to green, approach

Bubba, Casey, Hoffman, Moore, Streelman all have fairly recent strong form, none more so than Bubba

On standard stats ratings I have Cantlay 10/1 miles clear with Koepka 3rd 7/1 and both fairly strong in the SG categories, but not interested at those prices.

Still at the head of the market, Thomas 18/1 is a better choice, very strong in both SG's as well as par 4 birdie or better scoring, and Casey 20/1, but less so

I have Siwoo Kim 2nd 110/1, Mickelson 55/1 is further down but is 1st in par 4 birdie or better.

Those are the 4

Not having much on here, just a couple of fun bets Travelers: Jordan Spieth can he bounce back on a course that suits him to a tee and win here again like in 2017 - certainly hope so! Odds 16/1 betfair (8 places)

Bubba has a great record here and won by 3 strokes last year but his form at the moment is terrible and I’m leaving him out.

BMW International Open.                 Matthew Fitzpatrick enhanced odds of 14/1with betfair (7 places)

not the biggest of prices but hopeful both will be up there challenging and have also had an  E/W double on them with odds of 220/1

Casey T5th best I could manage

Gutted with Fitzpatrick losing in a playoff , and won’t be backing Spieth for a while!
